Coordinape is bringing GIVE to Farcaster. GIVE is the Coordinape reputation primitive that becomes on-chain reputation points. Over 41 Million GIVE have been given in the Coordinape app, and now we’re opening up this multipurpose attestation to everyone on farcaster.
Who will you GIVE to? Recognize the builders, the thinkers, the helpers, and the memers. GIVE for hot takes. GIVE for big wins. GIVE for vibes. It all matters, and it’s up to you who gets your GIVE.
At launch, anyone on Farcaster can summon @givebot to get giving. You can either:
* reply to a cast and givebot will send GIVE to the caster. * tag anyone in a fresh cast and givebot will hook them up.
The bot will also show a frame where you can see your GIVE activity and bring it onchain. Think of GIVE like a portable, onchain LinkedIn endorsement, with scarcity to underpin its truth and value (GIVE is replenished but use it wisely). You can even have givebot associate your GIVE with a skill or attribute that you want to highlight!

Sending GIVE in Farcaster is easy.
* Use @givebot to summon the bot, in a cast or reply. If you reply to someone's cast, they will be the GIVE recipient. If you @ tag someone in your own top level cast, that person will also be the recipient.

* You can also use an # sign with any term you can think of, to give context for your GIVE. For example #memes will apply the Memes skill tag to the GIVE in CoLinks for the person you send it to. Anything can become a Skill tag. You can also include whatever other text you want in your reply, it won't effect the GIVE at all.

* When the GIVE has been sent via GiveBot, the bot will return a Frame, and that will allow you and the GIVE receiver to see some basics about the transaction and your status as GIVE participants.
* In the Frame, you can mint a CoSoul to get the Rep on chain. This is minted for free, with no transaction required. We'll pay gas ourselves, and ship it right to to the first wallet you have linked with your Farcaster account.
