Today, we're launching CoApp and $CO on Base—and marking a major new chapter for Coordinape.
First, the big change: Coordinape is now governed by CoDAO. The tools, token, and infrastructure we've built will be owned and guided by the community, fulfilling a long-held belief that onchain reputation should belong to everyone.
CoDAO now stewards the Social Oracle, issues grants to aligned builders, and funds new ways to recognize and reward contributions across web3.
$CO has been quietly live on Ethereum since 2021, held by the team and early contributors. Today it becomes transferable, with its home on Base—the chain where most of our recent innovation has happened.
Holding $CO unlocks enhanced functionality in Coordinape tools, including higher GIVE emissions and advanced features in CoApp. It also lays the groundwork for future products like CoAgents, and permissionless contributions to the Social Oracle.
CoDAO has made $CO easy to obtain 🦄
CoApp is the first miniapp from CoDAO, now live on Farcaster and the Coinbase Wallet beta (TBA).
It’s a lightweight, AI-powered tool that helps you and your friends build and share onchain reputation. CoApp analyzes casts and profiles to suggest relevant skills, generate attestations, and visualize strengths. The more people use it, the more robust the Social Oracle becomes.
This isn’t a one-off experience—it’s a feedback loop. Recognition creates attestations, which build reputation, which invites more participation.
Coordinape started as an experiment in collective recognition inside Yearn. It grew into one of the most-used attestation systems on Base, helped teams reimagine coordination, and pushed the boundaries of what reputation tooling could look like.
Now, with CoDAO in place, we’re scaling that vision into shared infrastructure—open to anyone who wants to build.
If you believe in a more expressive, transparent, and participatory future for online identity, we hope you’ll join us.
